Would you like to get involved at Newburgh Juniors?

Have you always fancied being involved in local football but not sure how to make the first step? Read on we would love to talk with you.  

Newburgh Juniors are a progressive club with a strong committee attending to everything that is needed to run a semi professional football club.

However, we are always looking for extra help to improve the club, so how do you fancy getting involved?

We have compiled a few FAQ’s about helping at the club and would love to speak to anyone interested in joining us.

Q – How much time will I need to commit to the club if I come along to help?

A – We are all volunteers so anytime that you can commit will be appreciated. There is no minimum commitment.

Q – What may I be able to assist with?

A – We have a broad range of work going on around the club all year round. A few examples include

  • Park maintenance
  • Ground maintenance
  • Building maintenance and cleaning
  • Match day assistance for home games
    • Manning the gate
    • Selling raffle tickets
    • Pitch preparation – nets, lines and flags
    • Linesman
    • Help in the kitchen
    • Cleaning up after game
  • Strip cleaning (facilities provided)
  • Fundraising
  • Photography/Videoing of matches
  • Website upkeep

Q – Do I have to be there very week

A – No any assistance is voluntary and based upon your availability

Q – What will I get out helping?

A – You will be guaranteed to enjoy yourself. We are a sociable committee and very welcoming. We all enjoy being involved for the benefit of the football club.
