Game #3 season 2017 – 18

Newburgh’s first away fixture of the season will take us across the silvery Tay to Dundee.

East Craigie will be looking to improve on last seasons 4th place finish so this is sure to be a difficult fixture for the ‘Burgh

Last season both games between Newburgh and East Craigie were close affairs with the Dundee side winning both by a single goal.

Josh Wilson

Newburgh signing news.

Squad building continues at Newburgh with the signing of Josh Wilson.

Josh started his football apprenticeship with the highly successful Woodside youth football club and since leaving age group football has he has played with Cowdenbeath, Oakley and Glenrothes.

Manager Alan Fortune is delighted to have secured Josh for the upcoming season, “I have been tracking Josh since I took over at Newburgh, he comes with professional experience having spent time at Cowdenbeath and will fit in perfectly to the system that we want to play”.

Alan Fortune announces his first new signing

Stuart Fowler has put pen to paper at East Shore Park to become new manager Alan Fortunes first signing since taking over at the club.

Alan is delighted to have secured the signature of the highly rated striker who has previously played with Raith Rovers, Cowdenbeath and Kennoway.
