Squad rain jacket sponsor

With competitive football on the near horizon we currently are gearing up for the return to playing. Sponsors are the lifeblood of the club and we are continually overwhelmed by the level of generosity that is offered to us by local businesses. CommVista have been one of our sponsor for several years and we are delighted they have chosen to continue our relationship this season

Comvista Networks Limited® was formed in 2014 and formerly known as Comvista Limited which was incorporated in 2008. We are a specialist telecommunications service provider based in Central Scotland. We have existing contracts with a wide range of industries. We are also contracted with government organisations  to supply our specialist engineers . We have over thirty five years of industry experience.

Core activities of the business centre on network provision, both external and internal. Comvista Networks Limited® are an Ofcom registered provider of fixed line communications. We specialise in Local and Wide Area Networks and we have particular expertise in structured cabling and optical fibre provision.  We also have an IT division which specialises in provision and site support. This further enhances our capabilities as the ‘complete service provider’ to business.

ComVista Limited established independent service provision capability in 2009 and this has continued with Comvista Networks Limited®. The company has its own ‘in house’ provision, maintenance and billing capability. All of our internal systems link directly to BT Openreach back office systems which enable us to plan installations and maintenance in line with BT field resource. We also offer our own local engineering presence to further enhance the customer experience.

The introduction of industry ‘equivalence’ by the regulator Ofcom in 2007 meant that all registered providers of telecommunications products and services are given fair and equal access to the BT network and resource. This means that Comvista Networks Limited® can offer the same levels of service as its core supplier BT Openreach. The BT Openreach engineering resource, which is UK wide, will install and maintain on behalf of Comvista Networks Limited®.

Squad training fleece sponsor

With competitive football on the near horizon we currently are gearing up for the return to playing. Lindores Abbey Distillery have sponsored the club since their inception. We are delighted to maintain the close relationship with them this season

THE SPIRITUAL HOME OF SCOTCH WHISKY

Distilling was taking place on this site at least as early as 1494, although it was most probably happening long before that.

We know this because of the earliest written reference to Scotch Whisky (or Aqua Vitae, as it was then known), which appears in the Exchequer Roll of the same year. It mentioned a Brother John Cor, a Lindores monk, who was commissioned by King James IV to turn 8 bolls of malt into Aqua Vitae.

8 Bolls of malt amounts to around 500kg in modern terms and would have been enough to make about 400 bottles of today’s whisky.

In 2017, spirit started flowing once again from copper stills at Lindores Abbey Distillery.

Learning as much as we can from the great Scottish distillers around us, past and present, and from others much further afield, we are looking forward to bringing a very modern whisky-making approach to this ancient site.
