Newburgh have been given permission to postpone this weekends fixture against Coupar Angus as a mark of respect to the family and friends of Ross Cook who passed away last weekend having been involved in a tragic accident whilst home visiting his family in Dumfriesshire.
Ross signed for Newburgh in season 2016-17 and re-signed to the club on his return to Abertay University in September 2017.
Everyone at Newburgh Juniors thoughts are with Ross’s family and friends at this sad time.
A tale of 2 halves 0-5 down at half time to an excellent DNE side
Newburgh rallied in the 2nd half and a Tabengwa goal was the only goal of the period
Newburgh travel.to Coupar Angus next weekend.
Looks like there is the possibility of a potential outbreak of football tomorrow in Newburgh…
