This weekends East of Scotland Cup fixture

Newburgh v Easthouses lily image

Newburgh welcome Easthouses Lily MW to East Shore Park for the first time since they re-joined the Junior leagues this coming Saturday in the first round of the D J Laing East of Scotland cup.

Easthouses Lily Miners Welfare Football Club currently play in the South division, after switching from the senior ranks for the 2015–16 season. Their home matches are played at Easthouses Park. There has been an Easthouses Lily Football Club in Easthouses Midlothian since the establishment of the Easthouses Colliery earlier in the 20th Century.

We look forward to welcoming them to East Shore Park this weekend.

Three goals in the last 15 minutes of the rlfirst half cost Newburgh today away at Luncarty

Newburgh performed better in the second half but could not find a way through to goal.

Next weekend Newburgh have a break from league duty with the first round of the East of Scotland cup on the fixture list.

The first round of the Scottish Junior cup was drawn tonight and Newburgh have been given a home tie against Hermes. Hermes are a North Region Super league side playing out of Uniconn Park in Aberdeen.

The tie will be played at East Shore Park Newburgh on Saturday the 24th of September.
