Month: March 2015

Match result 28/03/15

A spirited performance by Newburgh fell short with Downfield eventually running away with the fixture 5-1

At half time with only one goal in the game Newburgh may have pressed the league leaders but a straight red card reduced the home side to ten men after 55 minutes leaving Newburgh to play catch up for the remainder of the game

Downfield added three goals in the closing 15 minutes of the game when play became stretched.

Downfield are well worth their league position and playing like they did they should go on to win the league in the coming weeks. Well done to them on a very successful campaign this far
